New Utility Bill Pay Service

To help offset the rising costs of payment processing fees, the City of Lakeville will implement a transaction fee for all credit and debit card payments.
Transaction fee effective January 1, 2025
2.95% fee, with $2.95 minimum for all credit/debit/PayPal payments
The City of Lakeville has made it possible to keep a fee-free method for paying bills online. You can pay your bill without a processing fee by paying via ACH/EFT (direct payments from your bank account).
Key points
- Your account number in the new system follows this format: 8 digits (dash) 10 digits (xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx).
- New utility customers will not be able to register with InvoiceCloud until you receive your first quarterly bill in the mail.

Customer Warning About Doxo.com
Third-party website
There is an online bill pay website called Doxo.com. This is a third-party website that is supposed to allow people to pay their online bills via the Doxo website.
It may appear that Doxo.com is affiliated with the City of Lakeville, but it is not. Doxo.com has no authorization to collect payments on behalf of the City of Lakeville.

The City of Lakeville has no control over if, or when, we receive payments made through Doxo.com.

Utility Payment Drop Box
A utility payment drop box is available at Lakeville City Hall, 20195 Holyoke Avenue.
Building Department Payments
Building-related fees include charges for permits, plan review, inspections, code enforcement actions, and required certificates to ensure projects comply with City codes and standards. Fees may also include review by Planning, Zoning, and Engineering (PZE) as part of the approval process.
Business Licensing Payments
Business licenses are required for certain activities to ensure compliance with City regulations and public safety standards. This includes licenses and permits for alcohol sales, cannabis retail, gambling, mobile food units, home occupations, massage therapy, tobacco sales, waste hauling, and special activities such as outdoor entertainment, patios and parades.
