Lakeville Baseball Association leaders recently attended a City Council Meeting and pledged $1 million over 10 years towards enhancements to the construction of the baseball facility at Avonlea Park that will be constructed in 2024 and opened in 2025. Enhancements include an integrated covered grandstand and press box, block dugouts with metal roof, double batting cage, batter’s eye, public address system and dedicated field maintenance garage. Avonlea Park will be located off the Cedar Avenue corridor.
