Orchard Lake Beach is one of two swimming beaches in Lakeville and provides public water access to Orchard Lake. The land for this special use park space was deeded to the City as part of the Liberty Heights development in 1909 by private owners. In 1981, the City acquired additional acreage to develop the beach and picnic areas funded through a DNR grant in the amount of $23,421.
The restroom building was reconstructed in 2020 at a cost of $83,062.
